We’re currently finalizing the exact program, but we’ve outlined a timeline to give you an idea of what to expect. This promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience! We’ll share all the details soon, but if you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
As the initiator, Paul Kramer of KPI.nu is based in the Netherlands, flights will be arranged from the Netherlands to Jordan. We’re organizing a comprehensive 12-day holiday that combines nature, culture, sports, and visits to the Jordan Open 2025, including clinics on all four matchdays.
Introduction
Let me first introduce further why I am so excited about this idea! In 2011, I had the privilege of working on the expansion of the Aqaba Container Terminal and Aqaba New Port in Jordan as part of an assignment with BAM International. Together with all stakeholders, we contributed to the trade and economic growth of Jordan. My time in Jordan was an incredibly rewarding experience, and it left a lasting impression on me.
Many years later, my heart remains connected to Jordan and the region. In 2022, I founded my own company, KPI, and I now feel it is the right time to personally contribute to this wonderful and peaceful country.
For over 20 years, including during my time in Aqaba, I have been an avid squash player. Squash is a game I am passionate about. Last year, I became the main sponsor of the female squash team at my home club, Squash Utrecht, in the Netherlands. The Squash Utrecht team competes at the national championship level, and we have 12 talented young professionals on the team. Among them are two sisters, Rana and Hana Ismail, who have combined Egyptian and Jordanian roots. This inspired the idea to bring energy, passion, and commitment to Jordan by organizing a professional squash tournament.
I look forward to hearing from you and making this vision a reality together!
Amman to Dead Sea – Enjoy the Dead Sea
Make your way to the Dead Sea, a spectacular natural wonder that is located 427 meters below sea level and is perfect for both wellness and religious tourism, and fun in the sun with the family. With its mix of beach living and religious history you can soak up the sun while Biblical scholars can get their daily dose of religious history.
Dead Sea – Dana Biosphere Reserve
From the Dead Sea, continue your way down south to Dana Biosphere Reserve. an area of staggering beauty, history, and biodiversity. It is the only reserve in Jordan that encompasses the four different biogeographical zones of the country (Mediterranean, Irano-Turanian, Saharo-Arabian and Sudanian), it is a melting pot of species from Europe, Africa and Asia. Such a combination of natural communities in a single area is unique in Jordan and many of the Dana Biosphere Reserve’s animals and rare plants.
Dead Sea to Petra
Make your way to Petra, one of Jordan’s most renowned national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra is the legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Petra is a UNESCO World Heritages Site and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Inhabited by the Nabateans, Edomites and Romans, Petra brought together the knowledge and skill of these civilizations to create this world wonder.
Petra to Aqaba
After exploring the fascinating Nabatean City of Petra, continue your Jordanian adventure with a trip to Aqaba. Located on the shores of the Red Sea, Aqaba is Jordan’s only outlet to the sea, and is renowned for its excellent diving opportunities, mild winters, sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters. Spend a full day soaking up the sun and swimming, diving, or simply relaxing on the beach while taking in the stunning flora and fauna of the Red Sea.
Aqaba to Wadi Rum
After a day of fun in the sun, head to Wadi Rum, the largest desert in Jordan and a protected area where Sir Lawrence wrote the “Seven Pillars of Wisdom.” Here, you can watch the sunset over the stunning desert landscape before enjoying a delicious dinner and overnight stay in the desert.
Wadi Rum to Madaba – Amman
Start your day by continuing your exploration of Wadi Rum, the vast desert wilderness and protected area in Jordan. Take in the spectacular scenery and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the desert landscape. After your morning adventure, transfer to the historic city of Madaba, home to the impressive Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Here, you can marvel at the ancient Mosaic Map of Palestine and the Holy Land, a beautifully crafted artwork made of over 2 million pieces of colored stone. After visiting the church, head to Madaba Archaeological Park, an open-air museum with ruins from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic periods. Finally, drive to Mount Nebo, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the Holy Land and the Dead Sea. Similar to Moses, you will be able to overlook the land from above, and witness the awe-inspiring beauty of the region. Then return back to Amman.
Jordan Open 2025
After visiting and seen this incredible journey above, we settle down in Amman to watch the most spectacular matches, participate a four days squashclinic and ofcourse, have good times together!
